Stathis Gauntlett

Stathis Gauntlett is a British neo-Greek scholar who teaches in Australia. He was a lecturer in Modern Greek at the University of Melbourne for twenty-five years before taking up the founding Professorship of Hellenic Studies at La Trobe University in 1998. Since his retirement he has been a Senior Honorary Research Fellow at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Gauntlett is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities.
