Cameo Dalley

Cameo Dalley is an interdisciplinary scholar drawing on anthropology, history, and cultural studies to explore the politics of belonging, indigeneity, and pastoralism. Her work examines relationships between Aboriginal people and settler descendants in Northern Australia, and she has published on these topics in a range of academic and public-facing outlets. Cameo has a PhD in anthropology from the University of Queensland and has long-term research relationships in the Wellesley Islands in the Gulf of Carpentaria and the East Kimberley region of Western Australia.
