Fiona Giles is a writer and retired academic who taught at the University of Sydney in Media and Communications. A former editor of Editions magazine, she is the author of Too Far Everywhere: The romantic heroine in nineteenth-century Australia (1998) and Fresh Milk: The secret life of breasts (2003).
