Lauren Fuge
Lauren Fuge is an Adelaide-based author and science writer. She received a degree in Creative Arts from Flinders University in 2013 and a degree in Experimental and Theoretical Physics from the University of Adelaide in 2016, and so comfortably straddles the perceived divide between arts and science. Lauren currently writes for Cosmos Magazine and Australia’s Science Channel, primarily covering physics and space news. She also edits for Lateral Magazine, runs an outreach project for the European Southern Observatory, and works for the Adelaide Planetarium. Her writing has previously been featured in The Best Australian Science Writing 2015. Her début novel, When Courage Came to Call, was published in 2010 by Random House Australia. She continues to write young adult fiction in her spare time, along with essays about travel, language, and culture.
