Jodie Hollander was raised in a family of classical musicians. She studied poetry in England and her work has appeared in The Poetry Review, The Dark Horse,Verse Daily, and The Best Australian Poems 2011. Her début publication, The Humane Society, was published by Tall-Lighthouse (2012). She is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship, a Hawthornden Fellowship, and was recently awarded a MacDowell Colony fellowship.
