Vicki Van Hout
Vicki Van Hout is a multi-award-winning independent Indigenous dancer and choreographer of Wiradjuri, Dutch, English, and Afghan heritage who began writing for Realtime Arts Magazine. Invited for her ‘insider’s’ perspective, she has been FORM Dance Projects resident blogger for over a decade and is currently in the process of completing her PhD focusing on the ways culture is enacted via colonialist theatrical (black box), educational and political/administrative institutions. Vicki has been a long-time teacher and mentor to the developing artists at NAISDA Dance College and has had the honour of teaching many dancers engaged with Bangarra Dance Theatre.
