Simon Armitage is a poet and author and is Professor of Poetry at the University of Sheffield. His most recent play The Last Days of Troy was performed at Shakespeare’s Globe in London and his most recent collection is Paper Aeroplane, Selected Poems 1989–2014. He lives in Yorkshire, UK
