Fiona Lynch is a writer who lives by the bay in Melbourne. Her poetry has been published in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. In 2020, Fiona was runner-up in the ACU Prize for Poetry and she was a prize winner in the Grieve Awards. In the same year, Fiona’s flash fiction was shortlisted in the Bridport Prize and her work was highly commended in the W.B Yeats Prize for Poetry in Australia. She has been published in Aesthetica, Cordite Poetry Review, Heroines, Grieve and other anthologies. Fiona has worked as a stand-up comedian and has written television comedy. She is currently working on her first collection of poetry and is undertaking a hybrid writing course. Fiona is also finding a home for picture book manuscripts that have been honed through intensive consultation with subject matter experts – her grandchildren.
