Felicity St John Moore is an art historian and a writer on Australian art who has also curated some major exhibitions. For seven years she was on the curatorial staff of the National Gallery of Australia, researching and giving public floortalk lectures on the collection. Then, at the National Gallery of Victoria, she curated Classical Modernism: the George Bell circle; Charles Blackman: Schoolgirls and Angels; Charles Blackman: Alice in Wonderland; and Sam Fullbrook; racing colours. Felicity's job ticket was her monograph Vassilieff and his Art (OUP, 1982) which is currently being republished in a second expanded edition by Macmillan to coincide with a new Vassilieff exhibition at Heide Museum of Modern Art. She was the author of the catalogue for the Australian tour of the NGA Bicentennial exhibition, Angry Penguins and Realist Painting in Melbourne in the 1940s. For ten years she was Education Director of Christie's Australia and she has also curated some large public and private art collections.
